Our Mission: To provide cooling vests, and other protective gear such as Doggles, MuttLuks, and any other necessary gear to help the Military Working Dogs in Iraqs extreme conditions, who in turn protect and serve our Soldiers.

June was very busy...
We've been able to make contact with four new kennels and outfit a total of 49 new dogs. All of this has been made possible by the contributions large and small from all over the country. Your generosity has kept the spirits of the handlers and MWDs up and positive and made their job just that little bit easier.

We've also found out, that as the main military forces are moving out of Iraq, more MWD teams are being sent in to replace them. Since these teams are especially adept at explosive detection, it's become more critical to find them with less personnel to police areas in general. So our efforts to help keep them more effective and protected as we can is still as important as well.

Here is an overview of kennels and facilities that we've been able to make contact with throughout the past year and provide the gear requested. We have expanded to active kennels in other countries as there is great need there also. As it turns out many of the Military Working Dogs in Iraq are now being sent over to Afghanistan and the Kaiserslautern Kennel in Germany is a main deployment point for them all over Europe and the Middle East. Many of these kennels in the list below have had handlers and MWDs change over and so we've supplied the new incoming teams as well. So even though the kennel is mentioned by name only once, the total number of MWDs supplied is current.
